With the Takamine GN51CE-NAT, the traditional Japanese manufacturer delivers a versatile acoustic guitar that covers all essential frequencies thanks to the medium-sized NEX body and semi-solid construction, making it perfect for expressive chords and great playing.
The solid spruce top provides clear mid and treble frequencies, while the laminated walnut body enriches the tone with warm bass frequencies that can be quickly and fully revealed in combination with the thin and glossy finish. For ease of playing, the manufacturer relies on a rounded mahogany wood neck with an Ovangkol fretboard, which is easy and comfortable to hold thanks to the wide cutaway up to the highest fret of 21 frets.
The two-piece saddle and 42.5 mm wide nut also ensure clean intonation across the entire 644 mm scale length. To reproduce the acoustic sound in an amplified, pure, and natural way, the manufacturer uses the high-quality Takamine TP-4TD pickup system, which can be individually adjusted via the side preamp with a 3-band equalizer and has a built-in tuner.
